Victory Shotokan Karate Association Do India was originally established in 2001 under the name Victory Budokan Karate Club (VBKC). The organization was founded by a group of passionate martial artists led by Karate Mallikarjun Goud,
United by a common vision to promote traditional karate and inspire discipline, confidence, and strength among youth, the founders laid the foundation for what would become one of the respected and rapidly growing karate organizations in India.
From its humble beginnings with only ten dedicated members, the organization quickly gained recognition through hard work, discipline, and outstanding performances in karate tournaments. The members trained rigorously and participated in several competitions, earning numerous victories and accolades.
A major milestone in the organization’s early success came when M.Satyanarayana , R. Ashok,M.Sanjay,U.Srinivas,M.Ramesh won the Grand Championship in the Black,Brown and Colour Belt Division. This remarkable achievement brought prestige and recognition to the club and established its reputation in the competitive karate community. The victory became a source of inspiration for many young karate practitioners and marked the beginning of the organization’s continued success.
The name “Victory” represents more than success in competition; it symbolizes the triumph of discipline, dedication, unity, and perseverance. Over the years, the organization proudly produced more than 40 Black Belts, reflecting its strong commitment to excellence in martial arts training and student development.
As the club expanded in strength, reputation, and membership, it evolved from a local karate club into a professionally structured organization. This transformation eventually led to its renaming as the:
One of the organization’s earliest landmark events was the State Karate Championship held in Mallapur in 2002 under the banner of VBKC. The championship gained significant recognition due to its large participation and professional organization.
